"I shopped at this hardware store for 15 years without issue. My son just bought a heat gun, opened the package, turned it on once, realized it was not the product he needed, and went to return it two hours later in exactly the condition he bought it in, and he was told it was "used." Had he gone to Home Depot down the road, it would have been returned without issue. We try supporting the small, local shops on Myrtle Ave, but this was extremely disappointing customer service and not the way to treat your neighbors. I will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere now."

"Went to this store clueless, not sure where to start, but the gentleman named Raymond who works there, greeted me with a warm smile and asked if I needed help...I wanted to hug him because I was a bit overwhelmed. I didn't know how important it was to get the right measurement for a tape. He went above and beyond, got everything on my list, and explained what the measurements meant. "I had a very positive experience at Clinton Hill Ace Hardware, Benjamin Moore Paint. The store is well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate, with a strong selection of hardware and paint products. "Huge shoutout to Ace Hardware in Clinton Hill. Earlier in the day we went to Home Depot for plexiglass and were told we’d have to cut it ourselves. We tried — it didn’t work. We called Ace and they said they could cut it. Javier helped us and was fantastic. He took his time, carefully measured everything, salvaged the pieces we already bought, and cut new ones so we could keep our project going. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Such a better experience. We’ll definitely be back."
